What happened to all of the "record breaking presales" talk.

It broke Incredibles 2 first day sales a few weeks ago but there's not been a bit of reporting on it since.

Has it softened substantially?

hard for me to see this hitting these 150-200 million OW predictions. I'm looking at screenings in my area for Thu-Fri-Sat and they are all almost empty. Not ONE is close to being full. For it to even hit Finding Dory's 135 million OW it would seem to have a lot more seats sold than what I'm seeing.

This is anecdotal, I know, but still...i should be seeing a lot more seats sold than this!

Unlikely to beat The Force Awakens but highest for MCU.

300 million looks out of reach. People"s expectations were getting WAAAAY out of control.

I think all the hyperventilating about "pre-sales" created too high expectations. Will be interesting to see if it can match Infinity War's opening.

Hilariously though Queen Only read the title where it said "43 Million" and got too excited and ran to go make a troll thread before reading the actual article where Deadline Specifically noted that "EG was at 43 Million with Half the night still to go"

lol This capped off an Extremely strange and Odd Tactic Queen had been using for months when Trolling on the EG board... that ultimately failed in every possible way

for some reason EGs record presales really bothered Queen and for months he made strange excuses why The Presales "really Meant Nothing" and claimed everyone was hyperventilating....Queen Oddly claimed That Online ticketing had skyrocketing so much and So Much different from Just 1 year ago when Infinity War came out, That it meant absolutely nothing that EG was outselling IW and Star Wars and Breaking every record there was....

hilariously this all Calumniated the Night EG opened with The above Premature Attempt at trolling where Queen at Been taking this "Presales are over blown" tactic with Endgame for nearly a month, He desperately wanted to be right....and when he read the Title from Deadline saying "43 Million"....He truly got so excited to create a troll thread so he could claim he was right about the presales, He didnt actually read the article stating "EG was at 43 M with Half the night to go"

But this is Queen were talking about, ONLY Queen could somehow make things WORSE for himself and Queen doesnt disappoint deciding to Now Make a Prediction and Guarantee for Endgame of

"300 Million is out of reach....It will be interesting to see If EG can even Match IW''

lol it would have been bad enough that Queen spent more than a month trolling and claiming EGs presales were overblown and Then Hilariously Prematurely making a troll thread claiming he was right and Then Queen of course Ultimately had the humiliation of getting slapped in the face with a 357 Million OW unequivocally proving 'No Queen, The Presales were dead on...everyone but you understood the Presales"

That would have been bad enough, But Queen Just had to make it worse by adding a yet another 90 MILLION dollar + miss to his record ....

anyways....couldnt help but think of GOOD TIMES when I saw this thread....

Nothing Like Queen Trying for a month with a troll tactic and Having it fail in every possible way to bring a smile to my face.....and Thats exactly what happened when tried this same tactic with EG....

I wouldnt call Disney Producing Yet another Massive Hit that going to result in a 900 M+ total that going to net them hundreds of Millions in Profit exactly "Nailing it"

Lets be honest...You hate Disney With a Burning Passion...The success of TS4 is KILLING YOU...

"Nailing it" for you would only be bragging about a Flop....and You have no chance of that as TS4 is heading for HUGE profit...

You are so bad at box office that once you've failed, once you tried to move the goal post to a New Unreachable Goal, You are incapable of forecasting a box office result that The film "Can't" hit....even with The Knowledge of knowing how the film opened, You then make a new goal where you intentionally try to set an unreachable goal.....and Your so awful at box office, You cant even set an "Unreachable Goal" right...

I defy you to not acknowledge how I didn't nail it here.

My posts about TS4 have been about the media hyping up and raising the bar for it's performance to alarming heights. That's why I pointed out how there were hardly any seats presold in my area in the days leading up to its opening...I even said that not only was 150-200 million seemingly impossible but so was Finding Dory's 135 million.

TS4 opened with 120+ million.

End of story. I NAILED it.

I never said it was a bad opening, it was an opening I always expected. If it has good legs it will be fine in relation to its 200 million production cost.
