As most who watch in the US, know they air 2 episodes a week. Right now we are in the middle of season 3. Does anyone know if they will continue to do this and eventually catch up to Canada's airing or will they stop at some point and begin over again? For example on Lifetime they air up to 2 seasons before the current one for Grey's Anatomy and then they go back to the pilot and start all over again. Will we always be behind or will we get in sync with Canada?
shareI'm guessing we will always be behind, but i don't think they will stop airing episodes that are "new" to us and start from the beginning.
ION is promoting this as an "original" show, rather than just constant reruns of shows that air on other US networks like Criminial Minds and SVU.
It would be nice if they caught up to Canada so we can all watch the same episodes/season at the same time.

shareI guess it depends on what other shows they have to air.
Some they hang onto for a long time (like Criminal Minds and SVU). Some they air for a short time and then are gone (like House).
Now they have also added reruns of Blue Bloods.
There are other shows like Numbers that air during the day. I wish they'd show those one night a week.
So it seems they have a lot of programming time to fill but not many shows.

We'll know in a week or so whether ION plans to move right into Season 4 once 3 ends. 4 will start June 7 if that's the case. Once they are caught up to Canada I don't know what their plan is, or what they will do in the fall once Season 5 starts airing in Canada.
They could go to a one-episode-a-week format, but if they wanted to keep doing two maybe they could air both the the previous episode and most recent one each week.
Have to wait and see,

What is Season 2 Episode 18 but a cliffhanger! So, I suppose that Season 3 will also be repeated .......So, Season 4, won't be seen until the earliest in October of 2016 .....Season 5? ....Hopefully, next year! ....You can buy Season 1, 2, & 3 (In Stock) on DVD'S off of Amazon Canada....Season 4, you can preorder it off of Amazon Canada. It is said to be release on June 14, 2016. Amazon Canada has he same Region as Ours here in the USA. Amazon USA has only Season 1 in stock...

shareThe ION Channel will show Season 4 possibility in October 2016 because the ION Channel bought the rights to show all of Saving Hope including Season 5 but you get Season 4 off of Amazon Canada. You can preorder it off of Amazon Canada. It is said to be release on June 14, 2016......The ION Channel started in October (2015) of last year showing Season 1 and they repeat Season 1 right when the first Season one was over & that lasted until the middle of January 2016. Then the ION Channel showed Season 2 and what comes at the end Season 2 Episode 18 but a cliffhanger. So, they had to show Season 3.....Season 3 Episode 18 is not a cliffhanger .....Alex has her baby and something else happens but it is not a cliffhanger...Season 4, happens 8 or nine months later because Alex mat. leave....So, the ION channel is going to repeat Season 2 & 3. Probable showed Season 4 in October 2016...
shareThe just aired season 3 finale last night. Next week they are going back to season 2. I could check into Amazon Canada, but really don't want to pay to get it. You tube has episodes of season 4, but to get it past restrictions they alter the color & sound. That may be the only way I can catch up.

The conclusion of Season 3 Episode 18 .....Joel goes with Zac to a Military base...There is a soldier with a bomb lodge inside him.....Joel gets the bomb out and was walking when the bomb went off...killing Joel!....Alex has a baby....Alex lets Charlie hold him and she remembers about the whole thing. Alex remember about being in a coma and about being a Spirit....Alex says she loves Charlie! Any of that happen...

ION airs the episodes on Tuesdays and Fridays. Maybe they show the "new" ones on Friday and then rerun them the following Tuesday.

The Episode that saw was Season 3 Episode 17.....You must a missed the Episode 18 that had follow....The ION Channel shows two Episodes a week.....On Tuesday, May 31, 2016 the ION Channel showed Episode 17 of Season 3 at 11:00 p.m. Eastern time and on Wednesday at 12:00 a.m. Eastern time they showed Episode 18 of Season 3........................................But, this Friday, June 3, 2016 they are going to repeat the Episodes at 11:00 p.m. Eastern time....

I figured ION would hold off showing it till later on this year.. I have just recorded all the episodes when the new ones have aired and will work them off... I have been wondering about ION's strategy since they have aired these Canada shows late night at first with repeats earlier hours later on. But perfect for DVR watching. My guess is that ION is using the eps as promotion for all the other repeats on the network. Can't imagine they get very much for the ads during the show.

shareI guess you don't realize that ION really sucks when it comes to shows. All they are, are all reruns even if they took the show off another network. Every single different show is all staff picks of the sames episodes in a row, not all episodes in a row from the beginning to the end. I am sick of how they run their network.
They say "Positively Entertaining", but really entertaining is showing every single episode of all the shows, not just skipping and only showing what they want or turning their network into like a radio station taking requests. I like the shows on ION, but not too much this show, but they need to show all episodes from the beginning to end, to be able to make this network the best.
I have sent numerous feedback messages about this to no answer or them even trying to do better. I guess showing all episodes that people want, that have missed is not important to them. I bet they would have more watchers if they did all episodes from beginning to end. This shows they do not care much to me.
Another thing that bugs me is Flashpoint has been showed so many times, I am annoyed it is still being showed. I swear I watched them all a trillion times now. That is still not all the episodes of that show either. Same with Criminal Minds. Just picks of the same picks over and over again.
Leverage is boring, and so is Burn Notice. I would name them all but all the shows are done this way. There is nothing new. It is just repeats, repeats, and more repeats. Nothing exciting anymore to watch on ION.

You know the ION Channel (USA), they like showing a lot of reruns but with Saving Hope if you are patient Season 4, will be shown in October 2016. The ION Channel likes to repeat everything and they have already repeated Season 1, last year. So, they are repeating Season 2 and with the end of Season 2, there is a cliffhanger and they need to show Season 3 for new viewers. Season 4, will be shown in October because the ION Station bought the rights to show all of Saving Hope including Season 5 to people of the USA from Canada..........Saving Hope Canada is filming right now for Season 5 to be shown Mid-Season on Sunday Nights at 9:00 p.m. on the CTV Channel (Canada only). Saving Hope Canada decided to move Season 5 from Fall (2016) to the beginning of next year (2017) because it is Canada 150th Anniversary. Saving Hope will do a encore of Season 4 on Saturday Nights at 10:00 p.m. this Fall on the CTV Channel (Canada only)....

True True. Even Law and Order, I don't know that they've ever bothered to show the first 4 seasons, which had the actor from Canada portraying the lead DA (Michael Moriarty).
shareI've found on the ION site that Season 4 starts the second week in October.. so that'll get it running through about 2nd week in December.. Meanwhile Season 5 will be showing in Canada.. I wonder if ION will pick up Season 5 after New Years?? or will they just repeat and repeat for a year??
shareThe ION Channel (USA) will show Season 4 on October 11, 2016 and won't end until December 6, 2016...So, on December 13, 2016 I think they will repeat Season 4 again because in Canada (Original Saving Hope) is filming right now for Season 5 to be shown in Mid-Season (January 2017) on Sunday Nights at 9:00 p.m. on the CTV Channel. Instead, Saving Hope is doing a encore of Season 4 this Fall 2016 on Saturday Nights at 10:00 p.m. on the CTV Channel (Canada only)....ION Channel (USA)would not show Season 5 until next year 2017....When we do not know but the ION Channel likes repeat Seasons.....Canada first to see Season 5 and they won't see it until January 2017 & then the rest of the world....

But at least the U.S. will see Season 4 soon.

ION I expect will remain behind but they did announce back in January that ION has picked up S5. Canadian renewals after 5 Seasons is tricky due to a loss of Govt funding at that stage. So partnership with another network would help. And let's hope they are selling it in other Countries too. It's a great show.

Saving Hope Canada is selling to others Countries like Europe (UK) & Germany, etc..... Europe use to be behind the USA, now Europe is seeing Season 4 before USA, it started on August 30, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. on the Sony Channel and we in the USA have to wait until Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 p.m. Eastern time.......I thought that the reason why Saving Hope Canada has moved Season 5 from Fall 2016 to January 2017 is that next year is Canada 150th Anniversary?.......I hope that is going be a Saving Hope Season 6.....I hope that the Actors & Actress want to and Bell, CTV Channel, & the Fans will let Saving Hope make a new Season (6)........
