Bad acting or bad direction?

I like Chloe Moretz as an actress, but her Carrie role was terrible! Everything felt forced, unnatural, overacted. Even just walking down the halls, she was a caricature of a shy, introverted, self-conscious outsider. Anyone agree?

Yes, most people agree. I think its a mix of bad director and bad actress. Chloe was badly miscast-no one believes that pretty girl is picked on. And the popular bad girl-Chris-is a butter face-doesn't work
