Carrie is supposed to be unattractive, odd, weird looking.....like the hauntingly bizare looking Sissy. Castinf the beautiful Moretz was a bad move. She's a fine actress but she is NOT Carrie. It's like casting Channing Tatum as Harry Potter.
shareI would agree with that. It felt like Chloe's portrayal was missing the depth of the previous two actresses. Since Sissy Spacek and Angela Bettis were a lot older it felt like they had more life experience and were better able to understand the pain the character felt. Chloe just felt too young to play such a complex character. It was too much for someone her age to take on.
