Useless but interesting trivia
This takes place in 1962, just 2 years after the main setting from the 1990 miniseries. Most people think the childhood section of the miniseries took place in the 50s, like the novel; but it's actually set in the early 60s. Unless we count 1960 as still part of the 50s, the miniseries actually took place in the sixties.
