It would be a shame to end an amazing career with such a lame movie all round !

Hopefully he can make another one - one where he is cast right and he doesn't direct. He still has a good movie in him - it's just a matter of picking a right role.
I was thinking the opposite. He should direct, but not act.
He directed Richard Jewell but did not appear in it and that was a solid film.
