Anyone else actually ENJOY this?

I see a lot of complaints about the movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit myself. Sure, some of the decisions made in the movie were stupid, but that's what humans do when they get emotional. I thought the plot was quite realistic.

The ending made the characters seem a bit- out of character- but the last line made it totally worth it in my opinion.

What made me attach to Jordan so much was the idea of being an operator and witnessing the "bad" part of humanity every day, meanwhile everyone else goes about their day with their limited perception of the world. Every time you pick up the phone, you have no clue what you will hear. You have no idea how the situation will resolve, or if it will at all.

Excellent thought-provoking film.

Halle's still got it at 46.

I loved it! I kept wishing it wouldn't end.

I enjoyed it and thought it was an intense thriller! What brought me to the site to talk about it this morning is that an old college friend from Colorado just sent me a inbox message on Facebook to say that she just watched the movie and was chewing off her nails because of the stress. LOL She says she remembered me talking about the movie a while ago and she just got around to watching it. Someone said that they hated the ending. I loved the ending!

Enjoy it? I did and I didn't. It was a little too violent for my taste but I did appreciate the focus on family. This film demonstrates that even someone with flaws is fully capable of embracing the concept of familial love. Michael was far from a perfect man but nobody can deny his gigantic heart when it came to his family.

I'm a real kewl kat.🐈

I saw this movie for the first time tonight. I thought it was a quite enjoyable thriller, even when Halle's character decided to go after the kidnapper himself. At first it didn't seem that there was any rhyme or reason to the kidnapper's target, when we learn about how his sister died, it makes sense in a weird way. Especially when we learn just how close he was to his sister. His fascination with his last victim's hair was pretty creepy, which elevated his level of creepy from generic white-guy kidnapper to crazy-psychotic-creepy. Suddenly there's a motive and a method to his madness.

I thought this movie kept tensions high throughout, even if the two female leads did make some pretty boneheaded decisions with the finale. (Writers' fault. They were just going by the script.) But in a way it's about getting one my raving psychotic off the streets.

Everyone is bashing the ending, but I enjoyed it. I disagree with most of the posters. The ending was not out of character for either of the two women. They'd both been through this incredibly harrowing experience, which changes them from victim to fighter in the end. For Casey to face down her attacker the way she did, with the woman who kept her strong by her side, was, in my opinion, poetic justice.

I love a good psycho-thriller. I call them *beep* for obvious reasons. 😀 I'd watch this one again because it was an enjoyable ride.
