U.S. Remake is coming!!!

The Indonesian producers are apparently going to be involved, as well as the original fight choreographers but this is Hollywood.

Who do you guys think they will cast as the SWAT team members and then the villain?

I have a feeling that Hollywood might just cast someone like Collin Farrell, Vin Diesel,Channing Tatum, or Tyrese Gibson. Then they would add Cung Le and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as the villains. I would hope they would add some Hong Kong Action stars like Donnie Yen but chances of that are probably slim.

They could never, ever make a remake of this worth two spits. But if they tried, they should get the guy from Ong Bak, Edward Norton for some acting, Trejo for the awesomeness others have mentioned, Micheal Jai White, Kimbo Slice, and the 3run armitage brothers for some freerunning. Some ladies would be good too, how about the lady fighter from season 3 of bully beatdown, she was pretty awesome. Or the tough spanish chic from pretty much every movie made with a gun in it since 2002, whatever her name is... Oh and Dolph Lundgren. I think he should be the Mad Dog. Or Kimbo, they'd both be good for it.

Did anyone else think it was racist that the only black guy in this movie was picking locks?

Your selection of cast members suck, I'd rather see someone like Scott Adkins and Tony Jaa than those slow fools. In the end, the remake won't beat the ratings on the originals.

Anyone who would endorse this remake are out of their *beep* minds...there's not a chance in hell that it would be nearly as good. Especially because there aren't any American actors who can kick as much ass that the original guys do. I mean for real Jason Statham?????? Are you guys *beep* kidding me?? Come on...As an American myself I can't believe how arrogant most of the viewing public is in this country to be unable to watch such a great foreign film. Why because you can't read the subtitles?! *beep* me....JUST WATCH THE ORIGINAL!!

They would be better off just watching the English dub. That would be ten times better than a US remake. Hollywood will screw this up. I don't know how but they will.

Can we honestly agree that Bruce Willis won't be involved this time?🐭
