That boy that keeps showing up throughout the movie...
I bet he's going to be Robin in the next movie.
shareI bet he's going to be Robin in the next movie.
shareWhat next movie? This is flopping pretty hard
shareIt's heading for a $120 million opening weekend. That would make it the second best opening weekend since the pandemic began (after Spider-Man: No Way Home's $260 million opening weekend)
Doesn't sound like it's 'flopping pretty hard' at all.
It may not be flopping hard but proves that Marvel sells more tickets even during a pandemic.
shareYep true. Spider-Man: No Way Home was very anticipated though due to the fan speculation that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would be in it.
The Batman has very little competition this month so it could do quite well for itself with positive word of mouth, we'll see.
I can see what you mean, but I personally hope that's not the case. It's probably just like the kid in Batman Begins (the blond one played by Joffrey Baratheon), he kept showing up but he was just there, nothing more.
If there's gonna be more of these Battinson movies, I'd rather they use Dick Grayson. He's a beloved character and has yet to be in a good live-action adaptation.
He'd still be way too young to be Robin. Unless he's already like 12 and just looks really young.
shareThis is for time lapse into the future shtick. Batman here looks somewhat young as well.
shareHe's exactly the right age. This is Batman Year Two, so the timing works out. That said, if he's Robin, that would be a MAJOR departure. As has been mentioned, Robin is Dick Grayson, who grew up in the circus.
Fun Fact: the kid in the beginning who played the half-painted new gang member also plays Tim Drake in the Titans TV show. . .who becomes Robin, after Dick Grayson and Jason Todd!
