Anyone else annoyed we wont get an ending?

I'm frankly getting really sick of the MCU altogether … the first AVENGERS cycle was great, the second was okay. WINTER SOLDIER is the best thing to come out of it all, and we'll see what CIVIL WAR does. But ULTRON was a real sign of the weakness of this entire experiment, and ANTMAN really showed the downside of making every single future Marvel movie tie into the Avengers.

I'm ready for them to put that to bed and get back to just making individual films again.


And yes, I'm annoyed as hell that this series was scrapped … the original was very shaky, but this one made HUGE improvements. I can only imagine how a third would have been.

IMHO, franchises today are too quick to pull the plug at the first sign of a less than stellar box office.

Agree, they should have tied the loose ends which TASM2 left, like the mysterious guy in the climax; more detailing of Peter's parents' whereabouts and of Harry. The film had some nice scenes, too.

One reason that TASM3 likely isn't happening is because it grossed 'less than it's predecessor'.

Well, if possible - Sony should continue with their another Spider-Man movie, alternate from the new MCU one - so that at least their version can have a proper, rather satisfactorily closure..

This series still deserved an ending despite how good or bad people think it is and it just feels like sony gave up on this iteration of spidey.
