Well the sequel to "Game Change" is coming!

Penguin Press announced this week that it will publish the sequel, written by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.
The book will be called "Double Down: Game Change 2012", based on the 2012 presidential election.
The book is due to be out in the Fall of 2013.

HBO has already optioned the rights to the book!
It will report from the side of Mitt Romney and his battle for the presidency.

The film should be out sometime between 2014-2016.
It's unknown if the same production crew of "Game Change" will head the the sequel (I sure hope so).

I don’t think a movie came out about 2012. The book about 2012 election wasn’t as good as the book about the 2008 election
