OT: Would you please recommend some good TV shows?

Preferably something binge worthy!

This is a good mash up and don't think they've been mentioned so far:

Utopia (UK)
Six Feet Under
Deadwood
Justified
Wayward Pines (S1)
Twin Peaks (the original)
Lost
Father Ted
The Dollhouse
Preacher
Bloodline
Band of Brothers
The Wire
Rome
The Night Of
Parks and Recreation
Queer as Folk
Mr Robot
Ripper Street
Top of the Lake
Futurama
Homeland
House of Cards
Stranger Things
Making of a Murderer
Fargo
Walking Dead
Broen/Bron
Arrested Development
Spaced

It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!

Lots of good suggestions so far, I haven't seen anyone mention these yet so I'll happily recommend them.

Psych (Comedy/Crime. Two best friends solve crimes, when they aren't running screaming from the scene)
Red Dwarf (Comedy/Sci-Fi. A small group of dysfunctional people isolated on a space ship mess things up)
Life on Mars (Psychedelic Drama. Fish out of water cop tries to cope)
Mad Dogs (Dark Comedy/Thriller. Old friends get together for a holiday and it goes totally tits up)
Absolutely Fabulous (Comedy. Two self-centred alcoholic women try new things)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Comedy. Bunch of idiots grow increasingly insane)
True Blood (Horror/Comedy/Drama. Gory soap about vampires in a town more dangerous than Midsomer County)
Peep Show (Comedy. Two idiots ruin everything they touch)
Blackadder (Comedy. A snarky man seems eternally stuck with insane bosses and incompetent underlings)

I just watched the whole Season 1 of Baskets (2016) on Hulu. Seriously, it is one of the best shows I've seen in a while. I very highly recommend it and Louie Anderson is a total revelation!

Another "Black Mirror" recommendation here.

I urge anyone with an interest in TV to watch it. As every episode is a standalone story you could literally just pick any episode to try out. Some even border on horror.

There was a pretty good show here in the UK recently called "Crazyhead" which was really funny and a bit filthy. It's kind of like a British Buffy only it's two girls hunting demons and killing them by "putting big poles up their arses"!

Another one - if you like funny/poignant comedy dramas try a Danish show called "Rita" about a a really outspoken teacher and her family.

A lot of the shows I would recommend have already been mentioned but I just started The Travelers on Netflix.

Finished the first season and I'm waiting for the next to come out in the distant future so I started watching The OA. I like it so far.

Dexter

Yes, unfortunately it swan dived off a cliff and face planted in a shark tank. That final season could not even jump the shark it was so crippled.

I agree about the last season, but the first four seasons alone make it worth watching. Those early seasons are among the best television ever produced imo. I even liked Season 5 and 6. The introduction of Hannah was where it all went downhill for me, but I still recommend the show to anyone who asks.

The Night of. I've just seen the pilot. Woah I'm about to break my no binge watch rule. Very well done.
