My husband was in China and I found myself awake at 3am or some stupid time. Turned all the lights off, put on headphones and cranked up the volume. Almost peed myself when the floorboards in my house started creaking just as there was bashing on the front door - I thought it was my front door.
shareI had a similar experience after watching Ju-On - kept imagining the ghost walking backwards down my stairs. My partner worked nights at the time so I was in the flat a lot by myself. A week later my friend and I were in the living room at midnight and my partner's golf clubs, which were on a tripod, fell over in the opposite direction. Still got no explanation for that to this day.

LOL. Another time he was away I watched The Tunnel Movie at about 4am. Just as a creepy scene happened some of his shirts I had ironed and hung on my cabinet off to the side caught my eye and I screamed.
