When was the last good Alien movie made. 1988?

IMO, "Prometheus" was very good. "Covenant" was a total let down though. I'm interested in a new one.

Covenant was completely forgettable, Prometheus on the other hand was a very solid movie, I keep wishing there was a proper sequel

yeah Covenant was a let down except the couple minutes of the alien attacking the flying ship. Prometheus was pretty sweet, the scenes of the dead super fat space jockey and the suicide scene at that Icelandic volcano were super badass

Prometheus was terrible, and made no sense. How can you put up with garbage plots and stupid characters like that? Is it just all about the visuals? Yuck.

Covenant was a disappointment, but I didn't think it was as bad as some did.

Prometheus was good, despite some serious flaws.

yeah the scene of the alien attacking the ship was sick, movie itself was kinda boring but that one scene made me glad it was made at least

Covenant was great 3rd best Alien Movie behind Aliens and Alien, Prometheus was disappointing

Hollywood ONLY cares about profits.

They know they can spend a bunch of money making a big cartoon for the brainwashed “youth,” and the adults will come for the nostalgia factor.

Hardly anyone will like the movie, but who cares— the tickets have already been sold…

Nailed it. I'm guilty though, my curiosity will get the best of me. Even Alien 3 that I knew was going to be bad I went to see, and it was terrible.
