This one was about as watchable as other Liam Neeson action flicks such as The Commuter and Non-Stop. Like those films, Honest Thief works because of his strong screen presence as an action star though its definitely starting to feel as if he might be getting too old for this shit.
I could not find anything else to watch in the pandemic so I started this.
It took me about 3 days to watch.
I kind of thought Neeson looked like he was going to break into laughter most of the moments in this movie. Or tears, like turn to the camera and ask the audience why they keep making him do these kinds of movies?
Im not picking at you specifically, I just wanted to jump into these new movie conversations.
There's a massive back catalogue of really good films people have not watched.
I wouldn't reward junk because there's nothing else to out there in 2020. Just like when Unhinged became a box office winner in 2020 when it should have been straight to DVD, because people where desperate to see something new. Even though cinemas were playing classics, which are worth peoples time and money people opted for "Unhinged" because it was "new".
I've been going through the early back catalogue of James Spader, Charlie Sheen, John Cusack, Sean Penn, Nic Cage, and Patrick Dempsey among others.
There's thousands of worthy films that people haven't seen yet pre-Corona, so I don't quite understand the complaining about there being no films to watch or the dumpster diving on new stuff only because its "new".
You have no idea how many movies and TV series I have watched in my life.
Rather than bothering me, if you have a lists of movies you recommend, make a
comment of it, or a few comments of it and let people know. This was a bad movie.
