Now please don't go nuts on me, I thought she looked perfect and actually prefer girls with a little bit extra. But I'm surprised nobody else IRL thought she had just a few extra pounds on her, I have not seen it mentioned once and most people are evil. Her weight seemed to fluctuate, she looked a bit heavier in some scenes like when she got in the tub, and on the skinny side in others like in the movie theater uniform.
shareI wouldn't say fat but she was a little bit bigger. I think it has more to do with her body type. I don't really find it strange that her weight didn't come up in the show. In my high school there were gorgeous girls like her that were her size and very popular.

shareEveryone has fat on their body. Was her fat content excessive? No, not IMO. Was she naturally bigger than the average female high school student? Maybe on a tv show, but in real life? If so, just barely. Could they have used that in the show to create more issues? Yep.

shareYes! Her weight was the first thing I noticed when I started watching the series. It's not just her. Almost all of the main teen female characters are fat. If the objective is to promote a certain agenda, it's does so at the expense of realism. Although some of the girls are pretty, with their body types, there is no way they would attract the sort of guys that they attract. Also, as gorgeous as she is, the actress--who plays Jessica--shouldn't have been cast as a cheerleader because she's just . . . too fat. It's like casting an overweight person to play the role of someone who runs track. It disrupts the suspension of disbelief.
