Studios live on money as in $$$ not percentages. 54% of 202M is still a lot more than 43% of 103M.

There will always be groups that are overly excited about any movie. It's too soon to say stuff like that about a movie that's been out for only a week. Truth be told it was an impressive week if you take into consideration this is February we're talking about and not summer/Christmas time, and a relatively obscure character. Better wait and see, projections were way off the last weekend.

my "have never been seen before" quote, was directed at BPs Sunday and Monday Holds....Which were HISTORIC...I did not or have not claimed Black Panther Will continue to ""have never been seen before" holds...

I get that you are deeply anger and upset, I know thats why you intentionally hid from Saturday until Wednesday, I know that the Success of BP is KILLING you, I know you hate being wrong....

So the Problem With The Desperate tactic your clearly going to be taking going forward is..Sure BP isnt going to have the Holds WW had..but Black Panther Opened at 200 Million + and Wonder Woman opened at 100 M+....the 2 arent comparable..when I film Opens over 200 M, History has shown its almost impossible for that film to have a Sub 50% drop in week 2)

If Black Panther Opened at 100 Million and then had this 54% drop,,,,then by all means, it makes perfect sense to compare WW holds and brag about WW holding better....but The fact that BP opened Double what WW opened to, Makes comparing their 2nd and future holds literally Pointless(again You clearly wont let this bother you, at this point its all you have)

but the facts are BP opened over 200 Million....based on this history of 200 M openers...BP should have a 50 to 55% 2nd weekend

there was a clear and Obvious Pattern here, and somehow it completely flew over your head...

Black Panthers 100% rate of coming in above predictions somehow flew over your head and you didnt give this pattern even a moments thought be for making this thread....

With A 101 M 2nd weekend, that puts BPs total Domestic gross at 393 Million....

First I Nailed the fact that BP would come in above projections at over 100 Million making this thread An Epic failure and proving you completely jumped the gun....

and second I perfectly called that you would not "Immediately jump out a be the first to report these new results like you did with the 92 M results"

Let's be fair here, you started this topic with the Deadline's 92M projection and in reality BP's 2nd weekend was significantly better. Now you're bringing an estimate that's almost 30M higher than your initial prediction just to make 108M sound like a failure. Don't forget it's still Sunday and the weekend actual could go up or down, what if it goes up like the week before and matches/succeeds the 120M projection?

Here we have a case of a single site that estimated a bit high... not "way too optimistic", but a bit high. It looks like that, by the time the finals come in, that projection will be off by about $10-million. That prediction was the outlier, and most sites had this second weekend in the $90- to $100-million range and, lo and behold, that's right around where the numbers will end up (and are actually low).

And yet, of all the posts regarding this weekend, and all the responses to all of the other BS you've posted about this weekend, THIS is your one reply? The one case where a site went high, but was still no where near as off (on the high side) as YOU were, on the low side.

Why did you never come back and reply to any of the posts responding to you, last weekend, where you were only off by a mere $80- to $100-million dollars? Why are you not back in the threads about this weekend where you were insinuating that BP was going to do $80-million or less this weekend?

I'll tell you why... you are an instigating, pathetic coward. You will never admit or reply in any situation where you are wrong yourself, but are more than happy to show up and point out the ONE case where someone else may have been off on the POSITIVE side. Why are you not responding to anyone pointing out how you were wrong on your negative projection? Your ONE post is to someone who was a bit over-optimistic? I really think you underestimate the box-office draw of the DCEU. There is nothing to indicate that JL will not be the box-office smash that BvS, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman were. Also, early indications are that it will also be more favorably received by critics than B'S and SS.

No way that this doesn't make major bank. I will be shocked if JL doesn't outgross TR(especially domestically).

That is way too low. The domestic OW will be much closer to $150 million than $100 million. RT scores do not affect the DCEU that much. Two words...Wonder Woman. The goodwill and popularity of that film will power this above Suicide Squad for sure.

Failed Number 2, Queen expected close to 150 Million rather than 100 Million....lol JL went ahead a one upped him by coming in BELOW 100 M...

Fail 3...queen then Predicted JL will FOR SURE at least top SS 133 Million...
