Easily the worst film in this millennium. Nothing comes close. Featuring the most disgusting character ( that you're possibly supposed to root for ) and an embarrassing ghetto robot. This is the equivalent to Cameron going from Aliens to Piranha 2. Except of course it was the other way around. This filth doesn't even deserve a .9. A sad day for movies.

Chappie was awesome. One of my favorite movies last year and the audience in my movie theatre seemed to enjoy it a lot as well.

It seems that *some* commenters have a very short list of expectations going in (and I mean very short, like a mere handful at best), which at times appears based on bias, or from a lack of film appreciation knowledge, or conditioning, or limited field of perception, or *whatever* (e.g., 'trolling'), and so can miss the forest for the trees, and even then this viewer might not have a totally honest or competent, or even realistic, view of those 'trees'.
This of course doesn't mean that a movie this viewer appears to be misperceiving or skimming so shallowly, is perfect or anything like that.
But to miss so much and obviously so?

shareTo say this film is a 100% turd and only deserving of 0.9 shows what a complete moron you are. Is Chappie amazing or as good as District 9? No it wasn't' but it was still moderately entertaining at worst and even if you didn't like it's a ridiculous statement to think it was completely awful and without any merit at all.
