STILL A CRYBABY!! Good thing she left the CIA else she'd be crying through the whole show (not that she isn't already). She is very dangerous with her bipolar and inability to assess the situation before getting frantic and doing unreasonable things.
She is actually pretty crazy, but somehow she is able to piece things together that few others can in that type of field, which is why Saul respects her.
Her bipolar condition is an important part of the storyline... it isn't always pleasant to watch but it is a fairly common disease about which the public should be more educated. What I object to perhaps is adding Quinn's condition on top of hers this season which makes the show too implausible with how he can go around impaired beating people up, collecting stolen money, and holding a SWAT team at bay. Not one but two people doing super heroic things with their respective issues makes it all hard to swallow.
Lol that's kinda funny if you think about it. Soon the whole team will be on meds with physical or mental disabilities all somehow trying to kick ass and take names on terrorism. They'll bring in some new character with down syndrome and watch him pull spy moves on people unsuspecting.
As for the bipolar, I always thought it was somewhat a normal thing. Like mood swings since everyone can get depressed or moody depending on the situation at hand be it giving a speech in front of huge crowds, studying last minute for a test, breaking up with someone, etc. I guess what differentiates it to being a disorder (not a disease else they might as well call alcoholism a disease) mania or hypomania, depending on its severity, or whether symptoms of psychosis are present.
Common, I'd say but hardly normal... I think many people are prone to mood swings, depression, certain extremes in behavior but a bipolar condition left untreated would make it very difficult if not impossible to function in a stressful job environment.
Even though Jack Bauer became the Punisher, I felt he was a better protagonist. Same writers created him and even when he went off the reservations he was a more focused character.
She has a lot to cry about. Are you crazy. She lost custody of her little girl. Quinn is a former shell of the man he used to be but her dedication to him has led her into insane circumstances. A young client was blown up in a bomb. A agent she worked with who has a family was murdered. And now she and Saul have been alienated from the president-elect and are considered lepers in what appears to be a major political attempt to get Mossad backing on so-called Iran's parallel nuclear threat with North Korea which turns out to be false. This is such a huge catastrophe that could lead to all-out war. Dar Adal is the dangerous threat and there's a guy living across the street that could kill her, her daughter, and certainly, Quinn. So how is your day?
