Him always being high and smoking weed, the color, the music, the weird talk and the great acting actually made me extremely unfocused and I just couldn't follow the story without feeling very dizzy ... Am I alone of this or has anyone else experienced the same throughout the film?
shareI get where you come from. The movie could be indeed intoxicating. It wasn't so much for me, mailny because I was consistently getting drunk while watching it. For me the "get high" movie is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Everytime I watch this movie I do not feel sober at the end of it. It just does something to you. And so does Inherent Vice I guess.

sharenewbuch, I love certain parts of this film, but don't know if I really like it over all .
But yeah. I just happened to run across it on my computer, and watched some parts of it, and I was like "this film makes me feel good, but out of sorts, but comfortable, but on edge."
And I couldn't stop searching for my favorite parts, then getting sucked in for 20 minutes at a time. The music, the colors, the disction, it's just.... wow, maaannnnnnnn.... coool....
It's strange.
