Watching Inherent Vice on Acid

This was seriously the most incredible thing I have ever experienced. I have tripped before, and tripped while watching movies, but this was something completely different. I seriously lost where the movie ended and the real world began. I was completely in Doc's shoes the whole time. Lost in the mystery, letting it all wash over me. I will have to re-watch sober, but I swear it was like PT Anderson planned for this. Almost like the actors were acknowledging that I was on an acid trip. I had to keep pausing and checking to see if what I was seeing was real or if I was imagining things. And I am sure I was imagining things, or at least exaggerating them, but it felt like the shots and actors actions were planned with this in mind. Every time I would think, nah, this is all just coincidence, and then some glance would happen. Or just when my mind was really blown, there would be an explosion of violence happening. I saw the film once sober when it came out in at the beginning of 2015, and I have not re-watched it until now, so I am very, very curious to re-watch the movie sober and see if there is any validity to my own claims... probably not. Either way, if you are into Acid, great scenery, hilarious ridiculousness, and great music, then I highly, highly recommend watching Inherent Vice while on acid... you won't regret it!
