What are some other scary clown movies?

Besides Clown, the only other good clown horror movie that I have seen is Clownhouse. Both movies are creepy and atmospheric (and a little campy, but it works well). Also, I tried watching It once and got really bored.

Does anyone know of any other good horror movies (or TV show episodes) that feature scary clowns?

American Horror Story: Freakshow. Twisty is one of the scariest clowns I've ever seen on TV

Stitches (2012) is pretty amusing clown slasher.

I agree, Stitches is great. It is more comedic, but the setting is pretty spooky and atmospheric.

Good clown movies are pretty rare. Clownhouse is probably still my favourite.

All Hallows' Eve. Art the Clown is the scariest/sickest clown ever. Hands down.

I agree that Clownhouse is one creepy movie & put me off clowns.

There's a movie called Amusement which has a clown but it's been many years since I saw it, maybe watch the preview and check the trailer to see if it's something you'd like.

There's a Masters Of Horror episode called We All Scream for Ice-cream which not only chilled me further with my dislikes of clowns but also for Ice-cream men. Again check out a trailer, it only goes for 57 minutes.

Not much help am I? 😨

I'm hoping others can find something you'll find worth watching. Good luck. πŸ˜„

Amusement was pretty good, I second that one. It's basically a bunch of short stories that are connected and the one with the clown was pretty awesome.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! 😁 It's funny because you'd think scary clowns would be really easy to come across, but not very many (good) horror films seem to feature a killer clown.

Check out the novel version of Stephen King's IT. The movie is missing literally about 70% of the awesome/scary stuff from the book. I've read the book a few times since I was a kid, and I've listened to the 30 hour audiobook probably about 7 times over the past several years.

As mentioned before, the scariest movie that has a clown as main subject is by far Stephen King's IT. Next to that, the scariest clown I remember from my childhood, although it has just a part in a movie, it's not the main subject, is definitely Poltergeist.
