The toy bear
Not sure if anyone else has discussed this, but did anyone else find that toy bear creepy as hell? Especially the tea party scene where they put the camera right up to his face. Very creepy... Lol
shareI was actually surprised they didn't take advantage of the goldmine that is Teddy in a horror setting. Even just once would have been enough.
Yes, his face is actually creepy during the close-up when the closet door is closing by itself. But imagine how much creepier it would have been if the shot had lingered on for at least another 5 or 10 seconds of the bear staring at you, then his mouth closed instead of the door.
Seems like the greatest visual metaphor for "shhh" I can imagine.
