It was good, but I felt duped.

I love westerns, always have since I was a kid. I knew this was a 3 hour movie and it really doesn't feel like it. I never felt the movie dragged on. I was entertained the whole way.

However, I kept waiting for scenes that were shown in the trailers. Some you never see in this movie. It felt weird because at the end of the movie it all of a sudden shows a 2 minute montage of things you haven't seen. Almost like a "Next time on Horizon....." sort of thing you would see on a tv show. Knowing there is a Chapter 2 this same year I guess I can give it a pass, but it just felt weird. Also looking up this movie in the search bar, I see they want to do a Chapter 3 as well. Very ambitious. I am all for it, it was just a weird way in my opinion to end this chapter.

Chapter 4 too.

When I was a kid, there was a movie poster at the local theater for the latest "Tarzan" film. It showed Tarzan, hanging by one hand from the skid of an airborne helicopter, with a grenade in his other hand. Damn! That looked exciting! I paid my 50 cents to get in, and sat there for two hours waiting for that scene. Finally, the end credits. There was never any helicopter, or any grenade, in the movie. I felt duped.

I knew there was a part 2 but i didn't know there was going to be a preview for it. Ngl, it got me hyped up.

Because the story was written for 4 parts, we don't get a payoff at the end of this movie. We also don't get to see how each story relates to each other, as they don't all intersect in this one (presumably they do in the next movies). These movies should have been a streaming series
