Much better than the original in every way! Those action sequences above all else - WOW!

I was 20 when the first film came out and was never a huge fan of it but I was interested in this film because it was interesting to me that both films are kind of bookends to Maverick’s career. I thought the sequel was excellent and I’m glad that Cruise refused to have it released directly to streaming during the pandemic.
