By the way, everyone, I do really like Tom Cruise.

I don't give a crap about his personal life or his religion, he's a hard working guy that I've heard is always nice to fans and set workers, and has produced great popcorn flicks for decades and decades.

One of my favorites from him was 'Far and Away'.

Maverick should come-out in this one.

The title could be: Top Gun: The Transitioning

The plot can be one where the pilot of the Mig he shot down 35 years ago was rescued, and becomes a gay world famous sex reassignment surgeon in Europe. Maverick, assigned to a fighter wing in Brussels accidentally meets him again during an anonymous Grinder hookup in a public bathroom. The Russian pilot, now surgeon, convinces Maverick to embrace reassignment.

I like to think Tarantino was on a break and they accidently filmed this and put it in the movie.

Yeah, I love the moment just before he launches, you can actually see him 'remembering' his lines - what a great moment this was.
