There's a reason that no one else has experienced the haunting and that's because the demon that George's dabbling invited in attached itself to the family and left with them. But the psychic stain of the murders will linger in that location for the rest of time. People sensitive enough will pick up on it.

Yeah that's why all of the other people who owned it reported NO unusual activity. Your entire post was idiotic but I focused on that one sentence.

And that one sentence you clearly didn't understand. I'd be real careful before I call people idiots if I were you.
I clearly explained why no one else has experienced any further activity. And a psychic stain will not cause any paranormal activity. But people sensitive enough will pick up on it.
If you feel like being a bitch about my post, eat a Snickers instead.
Not quite sure. It seems like there are some paranormal-ish things that happen in the world so I can't say "no". My mind is open to it but I simply can't say something exists that I have seen no proof of. Honestly what do you expect me to do? I've never seen anything that I found credible and undisputed but I certainly do NOT believe the Amityville Horror case ever was anything other than a tale spun in a room with the Lutz, a bottle of wine and Defeo's lawyer, William Weber. Weber was grasping at straws to get his client off and the Lutz saw a lot of money. What no one seems to consider is that after that "demon" defense didn't work and Defeo was convicted, Weber came out and admitted the truth. That little fact is always looked over.
But let me ask you this, do you believe that George Lutz moved things with his mind and that the Warren's little doll is a demon that can (and has) killed people?

I don't believe Lutz was telekinetic. A lot of what Danny Lutz said was extremely unbelievable. I believe that the family was targeted by supernatural forces, all of which Lutz's dabbling invited in, but I also believe that Danny exaggerated many of his "memories". It wouldn't surprise me at all that he'll say that on the night they fled, the walls and stairs bled. It's like that lady said, he's taking a lot of what was in the movies and has gone with them. Maybe he believes these things happen like he says but there's a lot more that he's not telling. As for the demon, idk what to believe. The infamous picture could be a demon but I think it was staged.
I agree with you. I've always felt the demon was more attached to the family and not the house. It is not houses that are "haunted". It's people and at times the land.
I just finished the book last night and feel even more it was George & Kathy who had the demon attached to them not the home. The book ends with saying it followed them to her mothers house.
I don't believe about the gate way to hell, the well or the anything like that. They were involved with something they shouldn't and that opened the door to it. Talking to it and taunting it caused it to anger more.
This is why no others have experienced anything else. At least this is what I believe.
I agree it was the people too not the house. My childhood home was haunted and we often heard & saw scary thing. When I went to college the dorm I stayed in was haunted too. Everyone saw and heard things. Hauntings in the dorm was documented years back. I've lived in a lot of different homes over the years and some times I see things and sometimes I don't. I think some people are more sensitive to the paranormal and ghosts or demons are drawn to them for some reason. I have had times in my life where I got tired of hearing and seeing things and they stop. Then I miss it I guess and things start up again. I think I can turn it on and off, I don't know. I have sister and brother who have seen things but my sister denies it. She hasn't mentioned ghosts since she was a kid. My brother is more like me and even for fun him and friends have gone ghost hunting. I feel that opens the doors for demons but he ignores me as usual.
I agree with you. I’ve seen and heard spirits all my life. The are not attached to homes. A home is a possession that can be destroyed. Spirits are attached to land or people. Rarely objects. In all my 40+ years I’ve never met one attached to an object. But anyone I agree George was likely the one who the demon was after
That sounds like something I read in a book many years ago. I forget the title, but the man in it seemed to have "spirits" or something supernatural following him his whole life. No matter where he lived, he experienced paranormal occurrences. According to the author of the book, it's people who are "haunted", if that's the correct term.
Some people are prone to attraction evil forces. I've read that it sometimes occurs when people fool around with the ouija board or dabble in the occult. They are opening a psychic door and allowing them into their lives.
Well, for whatever it's worth, that's what was in the book.
Yes you are right. I played with a board as a teen and was later attacked by a demon. Years later someone praying with me said God told her a demon was attached to me. I thought she was nuts at first but I agreed to let her pray a special prayer over me. She also had her church pray for me. I wasn’t active in church at the time. It took a week or so but it was like my eyes opened and things were brighter.
