This will be fucking awful

1. Directed by Scott McNamara, who has never made a good movie and has made several films on the IMDb Top 100, including The Bratz Movie, 3 Ninja: High Noon on Mega Mountain, and several of the Baby Geniuses movies.

2. Dennis Quaid looks nothing like Ronald Reagan, barely sounds like him, and is doing a rough job physically mimicking his mannerisms. Instead of Reagan, I just see Dennis Quaid being as Quaid as ever. For a president known for his iconic voice, appearance, and manner of carrying himself, Quaid doesn't even look like he's trying to capture any of that. He looks more like Bush.

3. It appears to be a very pro-Reagan film, portraying him as a wholesome honest man who just wanted to do the right thing. Making this sorta movie about any president is a bad move, as even Lincoln had moral conflicts. There was the Tupac biopic from 2017 that was AWFUL because it refused to acknowledge any of Tupac's issues and instead painted him as an angelic, squeaky-clean boy scout. Why would we ever waste our time on a movie about a person who's flawless and is always right? What's the conflict? This'll age incredibly poorly once more of Reagan's racism and atrocities come to light.

4. This movie was completed in 2020 but sat on a shelf for two years because nobody wanted to purchase the rights for it. A star-studded biopic about a famous president cant get any bidders for four years? C'mon, if that's not a red flag, I dunno what is.

5. The trailer is filled with awful cringeworthy lines and moments that flatout aren't funny. Aren't trailers supposed to make us excited? This trailer felt like a spoof at times.
