An word on why Melinda Dillon doesn't reprise her role?

She would be 83. A lovely woman.

I was speculating that at that age maybe she just has health issues that didn't allow for such.

I was thinking that Melinda Dillon was was probably too ill to work at that point. I mean, she did recently pass, so it sort of goes hand in hand with that sentiment.

I don’t know but was disappointed she didn’t come back. I don’t think the actress they had play her fit that role
