I don't know why anybody would think otherwise but I thought she was just SO good in this. I recently saw "Before you say I Do" and she was great in that too. I love her voice also, very different! Between these movies, I think she is nailing the part of a nice and good girl. I am looking forward to her expanding into other roles and becoming great! :)
shareI thought her voice was a little mumbly, maybe just because there were so many scenes of characters talking over one another, but also she sounds a bit like the parents on Peanuts "wah, wah, wah," like a horn honking.
The sky is blue
I have only seen Jennifer Westfeldt in this movie, and she was definitely my least favorite actor by a long way.
Her face is inexpressive and appears to be full of botox and fillers. She keeps her top lip pulled down awkwardly as if she's trying to hide her teeth, or maybe this is caused by the surgery (I looked up old photos of her when she was younger, and she smiled normally with a relaxed mouth and showing teeth).
Perhaps she's too vain/paranoid about her looks, and it stops her from being funny or natural. By comparison, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph are not afraid to pull unflattering expressions, so they're much more likeable and alive on screen.
I love her characters! She's totally relatable!
