When that song kicked in at the end, I was done lol..I think it's one of the most beautiful and haunting songs I've ever heard..It really suited the film and brought everything together nicely.
Me too! I came on this board to say the same thing! But not because I thought it was an incredibly great film. I don't. I just happen to relate to aspects of it and situations in it. I, too, found myself alone after I graduated, no job, no friends, wept in my mother's arms because I thought I was a failure and harmful to myself. I always did good things for others, got the best grades, tried to follow a path, but I guess real life doesn't wait for everyone to succeed. But hey, I'm picking myself up! Sorry to have poured my soul out here. I liked the film nevertheless and I happened to know THAT SONG from long before I watched this movie, so when it started playing during the end credits I just HAD to start crying like a baby!
As usual Miles Teller blew me away with his performance and when he finally breaks down at the end it just made me tear up, Miles really sold that scene and it relates to anyone who has felt judged and accused of being like the elders.
