Okay it was cool he used it SPOILER as a bomb cool. I argue with my gf about this i say he wasnt sure when he meets the russians after the score if they have felix in the suv.She says he knew he wasnt there im like well why he go looking in the car ? So my thing is if they had felix with them no way they let mike have him so what does mike do with the toy/bomb? Did he have another plan up his sleeve?

shareActivating the bomb was a last-ditch scenario, in case Irina reneged on her end of the deal, which was highly likely considering their past dealings. Mike goes to the car to make absolutely certain Felix (and presumably Elena) were not in it. When Irina double-crosses him yet again, boom goes the dynamite. Now he's free to go looking for his son in Israel (the beach). He obviously wouldn't detonate it if he did get his son back, or just dismantle it.
