Am I the only one..

Am I the only one that actually LOVED this movie? Just curious.

reply

Not at all. It's one of my favourites for sure!

I really liked it. I loved the basic concept of what a group of regular teens would do if they got superpowers.

It felt fresh. Maybe the only superhero movie which managed to tell the typical hero story from an interesting angle.

What???? Of course you are not the only one who loves this movie! This movie was actually like something that would be done for a game for virtual reality technology!

Imagine a movie based game of Chronicle and they use it for virtual reality?

I can honestly say that 'Love' is NOT one of the words I personally feel expresses this movie. It was okay and all but I found myself pausing it and wandering away quite a few times throughout.

Some things that annoyed me hugely at the end was Andrew screaming about wanting to be 'left alone' but after his failed attempt at patricide he keeps attacking random people and cops, films himself on all of those cameras from the space needle, destroys tons of buildings in DT Seattle,, And all he had to do to be 'left alone' was fly off to Tibet(like he wanted to at the beginning).

The action and some of the deep thoughts was good but,,, I'd have to lump this one in somewhere between 'The Host' and 'I am Number Four'.
