Why is there black elves now? 🀬

The original (to my recollection) had no negroid persons working at the north pole.

So this smacks of box checking and tokenism, i.e wokeness.

That's a bad sign for this series.

Elves are slaves, so black elves are a no-no!

I just rewatched the first movie. There are a few black elves. After Scott (Tim Allen) visits the North Pole for the first time you'll see a black elf on a mini-hay carriage and some black elves in the background sweeping the floor and walking about doing elf work. I guess the perception here is they weren't front and center on screen before as they are now or something else in your mind...

Duly noted.

Why were all elves white? πŸ»β€β„οΈβ€‹
Or do the Alaskan Natives count as white?

Why was there an Asian elf named Judy? Why was David Krumholtz playing an elf at 16 when Charlie and the other elves were like 10? Idk man is it that important? Is the real question, why aren't white people centred in this story, even the fictional creatures known as elves?

reply

If you want to get technical Santa should be played by a Greek.

They're in the north pole above Europe, so they should all be white.

Bernard was pushing it in the first with his Yetish self.

reply

you mean he should be played by a white man hahahahah
