Breaking Bad, Weeds and Revenge all rolled into one

Loving this series thanks to Netflix! Not as gratuitous in either the use of sex or violence as American TV, and the acting is strong for a soap opera. Kate del Castillo is excellent as the protaganist, Teresa Mendoza - a perfect blend of toughness and sex appeal. It's going to be tough to pull off an American version because few young Hollywood actresses can pull this off. The advanced ages of the actors is my only quibble. Kate was 40 - playing a woman that at the start is clearly supposed to be in her early 20s. The same for a lot of the other actors.

Im glad Netflix posted this soap opera. It is one of the best soaps out there. Kate del Castillo is an amazing actress. Netflix also uploaded another soap opera about drug trafficking which also starrs Kate Del Castillo it is called Dueños Del Paraiso. You should check it out.

Who cares? I just started watching this, and have gotten hooked on it so far---it's pretty exciting. And the lead actress barely even looks over 30, let alone 40, so who cares about her age? She pulls off the role excellently---that's all that matters.
