Didn't they already make one?
I thought the Eddie Murphy film was flop enough for them. Do they have to punish themselves with another crappy film about a park ride only a niche group of people love?

shareMuppets Haunted Mansion (2021) is the superior film to the 2003 Eddie Murphy one.

I'm not sure why they'd want to try this one again. May as well try another Tarzan, Lone Ranger, or Zorro while they're at it.
who cares , you're not forced to watch it
shareI guess they are willing to roll the dice. A familiar title with some degree of recognition and good will is probably worth a lot of dollars in the selling of a new film.
Pirates of the Caribbean has been worth a ton of money and even the recent blandly pointless Jungle Cruise didn't actually lose a ton of money, so, i guess the logic is still there...
I really enjoyed Tomorrowland even though it didn’t do well.
shareThe ride has a massive fan base. Me included. Hated the limo Murphy film but I want to see this.
shareIt is a OK rainy day film.
