Why in the future, screens are transparent??

Why in EVERY futuristic movie, the screens in our devices are transparents??
This is the stupidiest idea ever...
Imagine if you are watching something embarrassing, like porn

I think the idea of transparent screens will look outdated 10 to 20 years from now after technologists figure out how to substitute our eyeballs with built-in screens so whatever you're watching will be in your line of sight but for your eyes only.

The first stage will probably be through eyeglasses which on a lower-level already exist but it will gradually evolve into being integrated into human eyeballs.
