That said, Ready Player One delivered some enjoyable Spielberg conventions. If you like a bunch of pop culture references, there's a special reward waiting for you at the end of the movie. Good luck!

Agreed! Really made me feel like a kid again, I think I had a big smile on my face during most of the running time. Like a fun rollercoaster ride, I too wish I had seen it in the theater.

What exactly did you find so fun watching this movie?
It was the typical, seen a trillion times, story of a regular kid that rises to save the world.
The fx were just there, nothing mindblowing, if anything everything looked fake, as in videogame fake.
I know that's what the images were representing, an alternate reality in a videogame, but I'm saying, as far as virtual reality were you can move your life to, it looked fake.
Anyway, I'm curious to know what was so wonderful for you.
I thought it was a derivative, mediocre movie at best, to be forgotten in a week.
