Over overated !!!

8,6 Imdb rating score is way too much for this flick. Plenty of stereotypes and nothing new.

Me, I enjoyed it! Why? Because it reminded me of some of my former patients, and how they ended up with their full time non nursing/medical caretakers Getting to know someone wile you are their body for them in pretty much all aspects is not an easy thing. Being in the position of someone with disabilities and having to trust someone else with all your personal aspects of self care is not an easy thing.

I think its fairly rated. It has all the cliches but also gets away from it quickly, changing the mood. I believe its the main strength of this movie, when you feel this is going to be typical cliched movie, it moves away from it and humor is brought back! Its an amazing movie! Every character knows their position....

Rightly or wrongly, there is no such thing as 'overrated', only differing opinions.

It has its high rating simply because lots of people seem to disagree with your opinion.

I, however, happen to agree with you. Why this film is so beloved baffles me. I found it pretty much average across the board. A solid 6.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

Yeah, that's rather true, but on the other hand, the 2 actors had a great chemistry and it worked pretty well, if you ask me.
I expected to dislike this movie, because this had been done before, and yet, I actually enjoyed it.

Doesn't deserve to be so godamn high in the ranking though..... o_O (WTF!)

But apparently it found the cinema G-spot of many people. E.g. this French movie had even passed Forrest Gump on the list of all-time greatest hits in Germany apparently...
