I cannot remember who was in the other movie and what the name was ... I know it's a bit older (Late 80's, early 90's maybe?!) But for some reason I think I remember seeing a movie a long time ago that seemed similar to this. Robbery, accident, money hidden, snow storm, country setting.

It's driving me crazy that I cant remember anything else about this movie.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?! haha

i thought the same thing..mine was more recent..it was Hannah, still with eric bana, and with a snow storm

I was definitely thinking A Simple Plan from their description. Also Fargo (and not just because of Billy Bob Thornton!)

you're probably thinking of "A Simple Plan" 1998, or possibly "Trapped in Paradise" 1994.

Yeah, that movie is just a bunch of other movies put together, a bad copy of Fargo, mix with the cliché movie about a boxer who comes back home, a little bit of Natural Born Killer, it was just bad...

I know I wasn't going to watch it because I convinced myself I had seen it before....but I gave in and it wasn't one I had seen already!!!
