Not to mention that the all Black version, if you're talking about the Brandy and Whitney Houston version, had quite a number of people who liked it, despite the low imdb and other scores. Also, it's not like it's a "White" story. Almost every country has a version of the story, which has been around for centuries. The earliest, "origin" story, appears to be from China. And these stories are for EVERYONE who watches them, not just a privileged few, or those of a certain color or ethnic background. People, especially our innocent children, want to see themselves when they watch movies. That's why we watch--to be entertained, educated, and to fire our minds and imaginations. Would you deny others that right?
