i'm reconsidering my thought about using imdb ratings as a reference to find good movies to watch. i have just seen this piece of crap and it deserves at most 5/10. it is typical speilberg film, kids with good emotions, a kid's love and longing to his deceased mother, friendship ancolloboration between kids, their parents etc etc. it had nothing special, a dull story, no twists, no good lines. just bunch of kids trying to act. what a waste of time

Yep, anytime you see movie where the main cast is a bunch of kids-run for the exits. or to put it another way-when the cast can be paid in bubblegum you don't have a serious movie

Some people thought it was worth more than 7.1 as well, that's how it arrived at that average.

I gave it a 9. Totally enjoyable.

yeah, I don't know yet what I'd rate it. but the stuff I liked in this movie, I loved. the 7 seems right to me.
