So what do you think of Lloyd Hansen ordering major assault in Prague? Which clearly would result a lot of civilian deaths, a lot of bullets and casings on streets and destruction of infrastructure could not be easily covered up, especially in the age of social media. All of which if he had a single brain cell left would have known that he was going to be the scapegoat, and of course rightly so. Even he did not do any of that, he could still be killed for the possibility of knowing what was on that thumb drive. Yet he acted like he was untouchable.
Does that make any sense to you? The old action movies in the 80s could be quite cheesy at times, but I don't think it could reach that level of ridiculousness.
