They Learned English FAST!
I know that immersion in another country is the fastest way to learn a new language, but they were almost fluent in 3 weeks!
And their English comprehension was off the charts.
IMPRESSIVE! Haha!
Actually I found it odd that they didn't speak ANY English whatsoever when they arrived. Most people I have encountered in India speak SOME English, especially now with global media/social media etc., even in the villages.
