Still pissed at Fox for cancelling this

It was the first time we'd gotten a half-decent sci-fi show with a unique premise and an actual family at the center of it, and what does Fox do? They cancel it as fast as they can, because they hate sci-fi shows of any kind. They claim it was because the ratings were low, but their past history of treatment of sci-fi shows after 2000 tells a different story, particularly after their leadership changed around that time.

So fuck Fox studios.

still many shows not getting past 1 season also such as Time Bandits is the latest one

Show business is 5% show and 95% business. It simply cost too much.

No, it could have worked if we'd had streaming back then, and Spielberg had not made the mistake of using Fox. Sci-fi channel might have been more understanding by comparison (though the quality of its content had been going downhill for years too).
