I just finished watching Titanic 2, and I can honestly say it is really bad compared to Titanic.
I feel that Leo did a much better job than Shane Van Dyke in the heroic role.
There may be some people out there that may prefer Titanic 2 but it was not for me, it was really poor.
What are your opinions comparing the 2 films?

You can't compare these 2 movies because one is not a remake of the other. Titanic was based on true events, whereas Titanic 2 was just about a ship with the same name built as a tribute to the original.
By the way, Titanic was a remake of an earlier movie with the same name, which came out in 1953. Maybe compare those 2 instead?

I don't usually compare big budget films to small budget films. Especially Asylum films, which are in a class by themselves.
I judge films by whether or not they lived up to the potential of the script and budget given to them.
