this or no strings attached?
which one do you think is better?
shareI liked both of them but If I had to choose I would say No Strings Attached
shareno strings attached...definitely
shareFriends With Benefits. Couldn't stand the whiny bitch in No Strings Attached.
shareMe too. And her character was terribly annoying. I couldn't stand her. And also, I don't like Ashton Kutcher. He's handsome but as an actor... no, just no.
And NSA was NOT funny, it was depressing, I wanted to kill myself after that movie.
I enjoyed both movies, but I liked Friends with Benefits better. I thought it was funnier and I felt Mila and Justin had better chemistry than Natalie and Ashton.

FWB was much better; I have watched it multiple times. Once was enough with NSA.
Depends on what you're looking for. I think No Strings Attached delivered a better romance and a far more convincing ending (I'm sorry, but even though Closing Time is an awesome song, everything about the closing scene in Friends With Benefits, from the set up, to the flash mob to the dialogue, was completely false). While I think Friends With Benefits provided a more genuine friendship to start with and had more LOL moments.
The other differences come down mainly to what works for you. In No Strings Attached Kutcher is head over heels for Portman from the get go, and Portman is shown as an emotionally damaged woman who, like all women, just needs a big strong partner to go home and spoon with. That having a caring man or woman you can hold hands with and call "babe" is more important than having a casual sex buddy even if it is "the best sex of my life." Maybe that is the case, and maybe it's simplistic Hollywood nonsense, depends on your POV, and maybe it's the case for some and not others.
In Friends With Benefits both characters are reasonably together, though wary of relationships. They talk about Hollywood stereotypes and movies. They have a genuine friendship which they choose to make physical. You can guess the rest. And as much as Timberlake "Wants his best friend back" at film's end, not long afterwards they're jumping back into bed together. What everyone needs is a true friend who can also be a casual sex partner, and eventually that true friend may be someone you can arrange a flash mob for and start a relationship with, but what's a relationship without lots and lots of sex?
I liked both, FWB had the better jokes and the more genuine friendship, NSA had the more genuine romance and a stronger ending. NSA worked against Hollywood stereotypes before embracing them in the final act, albeit flipped on their head somewhat, while FWB went the Hollywood route from beginning to end.
