It Looks Like a Cartoon
Instead of looking amazing, I think it looks terrible.
shareIt has amazing special effects and an amazingly bad story. The acting was laughable. Every time someone hissed or did a war celebration, I chuckled in cringe.
The first movie was the same.
Amazingly cartoony acting by CGI cartoon characters.
I enjoyed the first one. I didn't even get an hour into this one.
Maybe I'll try to watch the rest sometime? But the cringe factor as you put it is just too much for me atm.
I did the same. I walked out as soon as they started doing all the underwater stuff. I thought, "It's pretty, but really stupid."
I saw the whale hunting and a few action scenes. It was fine but the acting was atrocious.
