I can picture the Na'vi planet as an abstract America and the invading force Europe & South America. Coming and doing real damage to a tranquil oasis that is the US. I can imagine the water Na'vi as Jewish Americans or Israelis that harbour Americans in time of need. In time of danger against scrupulous adversaries. We all enjoy the ra ra Joe Biden 2020s , a time of growth, a time of love, a time of equilibrium, a time when banks are our friends, a time of vaccines. But we must not forget, and James Cameron reminds us, that danger is close. That forces are at play, the threat is real, and that supporting Ukraine with billions is the only right choice.
