I just can't go see a cool CGI 3D movie sequel because..

I agree that the characters are poorly developed, and not given the opportunity to grow. but why can't you feel anything about the characters?

The story itself demands you do


Love sories, father figures, rebellious teens.

In all honesty, that's often the case for some movies with characters incarnated by flesh and bone actors.

Because it takes place in fantasy land.

Too many characters, little time to empathize with everyone, even on a 3-hour movie. But I think Loak's death would've been much more shocking than his big brother's. I had to be reminded of his name when they showed him as a baby at the end.

Also, the character of Spider was pointless, didn't make any sense.

Finally, the CGI wasn't that cool. It was really poorly done, and I mean poorly done for James Cameron on a big budget in 2022.
